Use the printer control panel or Feed button
Many Zebra printers provide a calibration option through the control panel menu. On models with a display, look for a Media, Sensors, or Calibration menu. A label can look acceptable to the eye while still failing scanner verification because of poor contrast, excessive speed, or printhead wear.
If the labels have shifted only after changing roll sizes, review the label dimensions in the print driver. Calibration tells the printer where the media is. It does not tell the software how large the label should be.

If calibration completes but printing starts too high or too low, check the top position or label offset setting. Small adjustments can correct a consistent placement issue, but large offsets are often a sign that the driver label size, media type, or print mode is wrong.
If the printer stops, wrinkles ribbon, makes unusual noise, or loses alignment repeatedly, avoid forcing more labels through the unit. Those symptoms can point to a worn platen roller, failing sensor, printhead-latch problem, loose media guide, or internal mechanical wear.
